SeenAs

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

How SeenAs handles information when you build a profile, explore someone’s work or send an opportunity.

1. Who we are

SeenAs Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operates SeenAs. This policy covers account holders, visitors to profiles and people submitting Invite or Review Copy requests. Contact us about privacy at support@seenas.com.

2. Information you provide

Account information includes your email, authentication information, requested or assigned username and account settings. You may also provide a phone number and country in Settings.

Profile information includes your name, professional roles, biography, photo, expertise, opportunity preferences and links. You may add Featured work or Books, images, credentials, recognition, Offers, displayed prices and button labels. We store saved information so you can return to edit it.

Invite and Review Copy submissions include your name, email, organization or publication where requested, opportunity type, subject, relevant links, message and book/request context. We also retain the recipient and response status. Please do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the introduction.

We keep subscription and billing records such as customer and subscription references, plan, payment status, billing-period dates and cancellation information. Stripe handles payment details through its checkout and billing services. SeenAs does not ask you to enter full card numbers or security codes into its own forms.

If you contact support, we process the information you provide to handle your request.

3. Usage information and cookies

We record first-party usage events, such as profile views, link and Offer clicks, opportunity submissions and sharing actions, to provide profile analytics and understand use of SeenAs. These records can include the relevant profile, action, time, sharing channel and acquisition attribution.

Authentication cookies keep you signed in and support account access. Blocking them may prevent sign-in features from working. We do not currently use an advertising network or third-party marketing analytics tracker.

Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request information, browser/device information and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the service. Security checks on visitor submissions use technical information to help prevent abuse.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, publish profiles, restore saved work, deliver introductions and transactional emails, manage subscriptions, provide analytics, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain the service and meet applicable legal obligations. We also use relevant records to investigate problems and resolve disputes.

5. Public profiles and uploaded media

Your published name, username, roles, biography, photo, expertise, Featured content, credentials, recognition, Offers and links are intended to be public. Visitors may share them and search engines may index them. Account contact details are not automatically displayed as public profile fields; information you put into public text or links is public.

Uploaded profile artwork is served through public media links. Removing content from a page or ending publication may not immediately make an existing media link inaccessible. Public information may also remain in caches or copies made by others. Do not upload material you need to keep confidential.

6. When information is shared

Invite and Review Copy submissions are stored by SeenAs and shared with the professional you select, including through their Dashboard and relevant emails. Accepted-opportunity emails contain sender contact details and allow the professional to reply directly. Once you communicate outside SeenAs, the recipient and email services handle that conversation independently.

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases and file storage, transactional email, security/anti-abuse and payment processing. They process information needed for those services. Stripe processes subscription payments and related billing information under its own privacy practices.

We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, or investigate misuse. If the business is reorganized or transferred, information may transfer as part of that process, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.

7. External links and social sharing

Profiles link to third-party websites and external Offers. Their operators have their own privacy practices. Using a social-sharing action sends the public profile link and any included sharing text to the service you choose. SeenAs does not control information collected after you leave our service.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain information as needed to provide SeenAs, meet legitimate operational, legal, accounting and security needs, and resolve disputes. The appropriate period depends on the information and why it is held; we do not promise a single fixed deletion period.

Removing a profile item does not necessarily remove its uploaded image or historical communications about it. Account or data deletion may not immediately remove information from backups, provider records, legally required records, messages already delivered, or material copied or indexed elsewhere.

9. Your choices and requests

You can correct supported account and profile fields in your Dashboard and remove supported profile content. Contact support@seenas.com to request access, correction or deletion of your account or personal information. There is not currently a self-service account-deletion control.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict processing, obtain a portable copy, or complain to a relevant privacy authority. We may need to verify your identity and consider legal exceptions when responding. Canceling billing and requesting account deletion are distinct actions.

10. Security and international processing

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, but no service or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Keep your credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

SeenAs and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live, where privacy laws may differ. We do not promise storage in a particular country. Applicable legal requirements for international processing remain relevant to how information is handled.

11. Adults only

SeenAs is for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through SeenAs, contact us so we can review and address it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will update the date and provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required. Contact SeenAs Labs, LLC at support@seenas.com with privacy questions or requests.
